Thought to have been built around 1850, this granite mill has now been converted to the highest standard, by local craftsmen re-using much of the original materials and techniques.

Treviades Melyn is surrounded by gently rolling farmland that meets the Helford River, the inspiration for Daphne Du Maurier’s renowned novel, Frenchmans Creek. Included in the hire of Treviades Melyn is membership of the Port Navas Yacht Club, which is under a mile away and has a cosy bar and excellent restaurant, offering freshly cooked local produce. The village of Constantine has local shops and is just a mile and a half away. The Trengilly Wartha is an excellent local public house that’s featured in the 2009 Good Pub Guide.
